This blog is not about coconut farmers in general, at all. Instead it is about my original cooking recipes and methods that i learned and incorporated trough the time i began to cook.
The name Coconut Farmers itself was a nickname, given by my American friend who happens to live here in Indonesia as an expat now, as he refers to the indigenous people of the island of Java. For me that name represents the richness of our country, and how we as the indigenous people of this land happily cultivates the resources that God has given to us. That means a faithful stewardship of our earth, a caring and grateful heart, and the love of our land and it's bountiful resources.
In celebration of my Indonesian Heritage in terms of culinary legacy, bountiful natural resources, and also the spirit of growth in culinary renaissance of the world i made this blog that contains my original recipes and twists to existing dishes to add more color, enthusiasm (or more like vehemence!) and variety to the existing culinary greatness that exist on our earth. For the love of food and cooking, allez cuisine!!!
